This is one tool that I had been meaning to add to my collection for quite sometime. I have two boys one being a toddler, I like to have this on hand so I can check his ears to see if there is a reason to go to the Dr. and also to make sure he has not stuck something in there that is not supposed to be there. It is very light in weight and easy to hold. It is a nice professional instrument and has worked properly every time I have used it. I would advise on watching a video or reading up on how to properly use it before using it, if you have never owned one before. This will help to ensure you know what you are doing and what to look for. This is a great tool to keep at home, but it is by no means a substitution for going to see an actual professional.
