I bought a light similar to this last year, but it was just one color that stayed the same all the time. I wanted something different this year as I like to change things up. This one is controlled with a remote and changes different patterns on it which is really neat. It shows up on the house really well and you can tell from the road what each pattern is. You can change the speed that the pattern is shown and also make it do a flash effect if you want too. I love how different it is and that it is not boring and just one stationary pattern.
