This is great for night time. That is when I put it on my dog so I can tell where exactly he is as he is a black dog so at night it is harder to see him when he goes outside. This helps a ton to know where he is and it does not bother him with it being on his collar at all. He pays no attention to it. The light is bright but not too bright and works great.
