I thought this would work really great, but so far it has only kept away maybe a mouse or two. I still see a few mice, and it does not make spiders go away or other insects. I have had it plugged up for about a month now so I expected it to be really awesome, but not really so far. I will leave it plugged up for a few more weeks and if nothing changes then I am not using it anymore.
